Microsoft Licensing Made Easy
Date:Monday, Jul 05
pavliks.com recently attained certifications to become the most certified Microsoft licensing experts in the region. We help our clients navigate the sometimes confusing licensing waters.
Around the time of Microsoft Office 2010 some new changes in the licensing world had taken place. These changes mainly focus on ways you can purchase the software, and how you can manage your software assets.
The most notable change has been the introduction of a subscription model. While this scenario doesn’t make sense for every company, for many it does when take into account the costs of Microsoft Office over the course of a several years. Instead of purchasing Office 2010 today for the full rate, and then purchasing Office 2013 again at the full rate - a set annual cost ensures that you are always current, and always compliant with your Microsoft licensing.
Changes to Software Assurance have also taken place to that allows companies to install a copy of Microsoft Office on their employee’s home computers (Home Use Program), and gives companies access to Microsoft support, deployment services, and spread payments.
What hasn’t changed is that all of our Microsoft Office customers, regardless of what method they purchase, have access to our free Office training sessions that are held at our offices. These sessions are separated for Word, Excel and PowerPoint and offer an open question format ensuring that your needs are met.
Let us help you determine what method of purchasing Office works best for you. We listen to you, offer our recommendations based on years of experience in the field, and work together to make sure that your needs, and budget, are satisfied.
